The following exchange is paraphrased from a real conversation I had with a barista.

"And what kind of milk would you like with that? We have cow milk, almond milk, soy milk—"

"Cow milk is fine. Do you find that fewer people order cow milk when you call it that instead of, y'know, regular milk?"

"I'm not sure, I just feel like it's time to end the cow milk hegemony."
